Why not get acquainted with your new community? Here are some ways on how you can do that:  Host a party celebrating your moving to the new community. A simple tea party will do to get acquainted with your new neighbors. Just be friendly and invite everyone that could be interested to know your family too. Try creating some goodies when inviting your neighbors. Maybe a pie, cake, or cookies will make them feel that you are a friendly neighbor.  Communicate with the community center. Community centers mostly have sign-ups for fun activities that will help you and your family to get acquainted with your new neighbors. Joining community center will also mean joining large community events that will surely bring mutual good experience for you and your new neighbors.  Invite people to your house. Talk with parents and have a chat about your kids. Ask your kids to invite their new friends to your house. Through this, your neighbors will think that you are a very welcoming person. You will feel a sense of belongingness and your neighbor will feel the same way towards you as well. Just be genuinely friendly and everything will be just fine.
