Keep a Checklist Before, During, and After the Move

One of the best ways to be organized for the moving is to have a checklist. However, for first-time movers like you, having a checklist can be a time-consuming task. Well, it won't be as time-consuming as you think it is if you already know what should be included in the checklist.   Before Moving Checklist   -       Plan everything-from packing to unpacking. -       Choose the exact moving date. -       Shop for a storage unit in case you need it. -       Determine which among your things will be moved with you or not. -       Sell the things you don't want or for faster solution, give your things away. -       Collect as many cartons, boxes, newspapers, and other packing materials as you can.   During Moving Checklist   -       The floor should be clean before you move. -       Check if everything is already loaded on the vehicle. -       Double check every room for any thing left.   After Moving Checklist   -       Consider throwing a housewarming party. -       Inform everyone of your new address. -       Start unpacking your things. -       Plan where will you put your furniture pieces, accessories, and other things. -       Decide which room will be for whom or for what.   These are only simple checklists before, during, and after moving. More lists are surely necessary for the real-life moving. You can ask some friends for more tips but remember that your situation will be a lot different. So, just be ready for anything by anticipating everything that might happen for the moving.
