Then it would be time to get rid of things you no longer need at the office. With your office equipment and supplies streamlined, you can now estimate the boxes and packing materials needed. Box the equipment that you don't need everyday. If you don't use the printer much, you can box it first. You would have to pack the PC last though. You could also have your laptop as a backup while the PC is packed and in transit. It's important that you box your most essential files and supplies in one box so you can have a functional office right away. Since you are moving your home office, you would need to make sure that telephone lines and Internet connection are ready in your new home office. This way, you won't be out of work for too long. When you get to your new home, it would easier to set up your new home office.
