Published on Friday, 13 November 2009

Aiming to make everything organized during your move is very helpful to ensure success in your activity. One way to do it is to compose a checklist that will detail the things you need to do and when you need to do them. The following discussions will provide you an idea on how to organize checklist for your move.

Six weeks from the date of your move, you should be able to make most of the works. Examples of these are packing, scheduling your move with a professional removalist company, and arranging your documents.

One week before your move, you should be able to make a detailed checklist on the things you need to do during the moving day such as cancellation of the electricity services, Internet, and phone.

Two days before your move. Ensure that you have enough money for the coming week. If you have a car and you will travel a long distance, make sure to have its motor inspected. Also, do not forget to clear up your garbage collection including your laundry before the date of your move.

Finally, during your moving day make sure that you have not left any item in your house.  So, better perform a double check in every room in your house. Also, prepare the things that will be accessible in your hands during your travel like your important documents, toiletries, foods, and other personal items.
